Legs MC
Album: Cheyne Stokes
Real name, Lloyd Mancini Lewery aka LEGS MC (aka Edgar Friendly).
Legs started rapping in 1999, when he was seventeen in a group called Higher Self with school friends Chatro, Sketchie, Hank McCoy and Ital. After a few months of cyphering in bedrooms, they went down to local open mic night, Slip Jam B, where they met producer Req1 (Skint Records & Warp) who helped to record their first songs.

This rapper next door is not afraid to do it her way. Eminem's songs with a banjo; taking the rise out of 50 Cent; a hip hop interpretation of Gram Parsons, on this album Eminemmylou takes her mix of Rap and country one step further. Gala
At just 21 years old, singing sensation Gala Orsborn has already achieved fantastic success; she is currently writing and recording her first album with Phil Marten from Turin Brakes and played at this years Bestival. Her career began after she performed at Bournemouth International Centre and realised that singing was her calling. She then began seriously writing music and started singing with the Brighton Beach Band outside the Gemini bar in the summer.
Komedia's Kroon Kat Lounge, rehearses regularly to ensure her performances remain on top form, as she says: "I am aware of the high level of competition I am up against being a singer/songwriter in Brighton". Singing and performing come naturally to Gala and she says that "I just know that I love doing this more than anything in the world." Her first single 'Your Love' will be out soon with her soulful cover of 'Wicked game' to follow soon after.

Hanna and Magdalena
Album: Invisible Threads
Hanna and Magdalena's magnificent album 'Invisible Threads' is a stunning collection of original songs, plus a few rogue heart-melting choice covers including Johnny Cash's 'Ring of Fire'. Hanna and Magdalena go further than Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy in putting the mesmerising back into songs and in 'Invisible Threads' they have delivered a unique blend of jazz-folk-blues-soul that is breathy, expressive and hauntingly evocative.

Greenkeepers
With their first single 'Spy Vs Spy Vs Spy' out now and their album 'It's Not Easy Being Green'... is soon to follow. Brighton based rap crew Greenkeepers, fronted by H Props with immaculate production by Biji Talls, know how to keep a crowd entertained. Greenkeepers have been playing the Brighton circuit for a while now and have done collaborations with other members of Brighton Hip Hop fraternity like Devise and Mr. J. Look out for the Greenkeepers tour coming in 2007.
